Heritage Day Competition: Terms and Conditions

The Show Us Your Heritage Competition is open only to registered funeral parlours and funeral professionals. Entries submitted by members of the public will not be eligible.

The competition runs from 18 August 2026 until 24 September 2026. The winner will be announced on 31 September 2026. Late entries will not be accepted.

​

One entry per funeral parlour is permitted.

​

Entries must be completed using the official CG competition template.

​

Designs should celebrate the entrant's heritage, culture, traditions, community, or company identity and must not contain offensive, discriminatory, or copyrighted material.

​

Entries may be submitted by:

• WhatsApp: to your nearest CG branch,

• Facebook: by tagging CG and your nearest branch (where applicable), or

• Email: to sales@casketsgalore.co.za.

All entries must include the funeral parlour's name, location, and a brief explanation of the design.

By entering the competition, participants grant CG permission to use submitted designs, photographs, names, and accompanying content for promotional, marketing, social media, website, print, and future campaign purposes without additional compensation.

​

One winning design will be selected by a judging panel appointed by CG based on creativity, originality, and how well the design represents the entrant's heritage.

​

The winning design will be professionally manufactured as a full-size Superior Dome for display at the winning funeral parlour.

 

The prize is non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any alternative product.

​

The judges' decision is final, and no correspondence regarding the outcome of the competition will be entered into.

 

CG reserves the right to amend, suspend, or cancel the competition if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
